He will do fine, as time goes by every person starts defining that special vision - project in life, right now he's only 25, almost 26 with an enormous responsibility at hand that will fall into his little by little until he becomes King at perhaps 50 or more.

I think William will be on the throne long before he's 50!  Charles was older than the Queen was when he was born, and men don't tend to live quite as long.  I don't think Charles can necessarily count on living another 25 years.

Has anyone actually read Hello! magazine this week. I skipped through it in the newsagents this morning. Apart form the article on William's navy career there is a question and answer session on William and Kate's engagement where Hello! have apparently been speaking to 'those in the no' including the palace which blows apart the New Idea article. Examples of some of the answers that Hello! have got are that an engagement is not immenent. People have no clue when an engagement is likely. There are doubts about next year and the article says we could have as long to wait as 2012. It admits that in this day men tend to get married at the average age of 32 (Charles got married at this age) and William seems set on waiting until he reaches 28-30.
It gives little details on a possible wedding such as the venue (St Pauls could be the choice), Harry will be best man and probably also Thoman Vs. Pippa will be maid of honour. Royals tend to favour summer weddings and June/July is most likely. I'm going to have another look at the article tomorrow but these are the details I thought would be most interesting.
The mood from the palace seems to be don't get your hopes up. A wedding could be further off than we think. A wedding may happen next year but it is looking unlikely. They're hinting at 2010 at the earliest (William will be 28 that year) if not later than that. On the otherhand Hello! says that people haven't got a clue when a wedding will happen. Imo, that's if it ever happens.

Got a copy today of Hello it seems to contradict itself the actual article.

I don't think IMO Kate is any closer to joining the RF anytime soon if the pics in Hello's wedding special a few weeks ago are anything to go by. I could be wrong though, but I just got the impression from those pics that none of the Senior members of the RF were making her feel anymore welcome apart from Harry. Yet again we don't see them near Chelsy either, but then Chelsy was Harry's guest and he was there with her at all times.

You think the photographers of Hello would rush at the chance of taking a pic of Kate with more senior members of the RF, so they can be first to say see she is accepted by them they must be close to being engaged then.

Then maybe they planned it that way.

Actually there are no pics out of the 23 Harry, 16 Chelsy, 13 Kate (approx.) with any senior royals, except both girls with 1 senior royal, Prince Harry.

Hardly anyone in the press cared about Ed and Sophie. There is MEGAWATT coverage of Kate and WIlls.

But the Press WERE fully on the case of Edward and Sophie and frequently speculated on marriage rumours from 1995 to 1999.

Most didn't care as much and a lot less coverage in the press. Edward is not a future king.
