What royal status. One minute Katie Nicholls tells us the Queen is telling Kate to get a job and the next she is telling us the Queen has invited her to host a table at Royal Ascot. This story sounds a bit like the Kate Middleton got an invite to sandringham for christmas from the Queen, but turned it down story from a few years ago to me. Thanks for the link Wannabe.

Sounds like another HINT planted by Kate et.al. It is like the invitation to Sandringham for Christmas once again. I thought the power of suggestion was suppose to work, or how is that -- one will get what one expects to get? yaaaa suuuure.......

But its written by the same author of Queen says Kate get a Job So how do or should you, we feel about Katie Nicholl's articles, other than a grain of salt, cause we've discussed her previous article about the job thing, and almost everyone believes that her contacts did say the Queen said it or whispered it ‘Princes William and Harry were both invited to Ascot, but neither of them can go, and so Kate was invited to take William’s table.
‘She loves the races and would have so enjoyed to host her own table, but she said she doesn’t want to be standing in for William again and using her so-called Royal status.
‘She knows that if she goes in William’s place as a guest of the Queen the engagement rumours will gather momentum and it’s not what she or William want.’ ~Please make use of the available Quote button and do not post vast tracts from copyrighted articles. It is sufficient to provide the link and a brief quote in all circumstances.

So then KATIE NICHOLL's writing reflects however the wind is blowing at the moment. Good journalism should not be consistent to one theme anyway.

As if Kate would say no to the Queen if she wants to join the RF. Sounds to me like someone trying to avoid the "get a job" story by saying the "Queen has invited me but I refused" senario.

True, but if supposedly the QEII has said Kate get a job, Kate Problem, don't marry my PW before getting a Career, that sounds very serious to me to then 1 week later the Queen offers the red carpet for a VIP table at the Royal VIP area nothing less than to Kate Middleton. If this article results to be true, and its a decoy and KM appears and in a Royal Table, then the first KN article to me is - I mean all the publicity caused by KN 1 week ago using the name of the Queen to 1 week later using the name of the Queen to say that KM has been offered a table personally by the HM There's a cover up in one sentence in this article - she will be there !

Kate is wary of being seen as William’s official stand-in. Ha! Since when??? It's what she lives for... Cripes, they've even called her "William's stand-in" on occasions when she went to Boujis or Mahiki's on her own, on various theme nights. So is this like all those invitations to Sandringham (not to mention those previous 2-3 invitations to Ascot) that she has "politely turned down", or is this like the non-vacation in March that occurred anyway? To be fair to the DM, this is not the first time they have claimed that she has "royal status". I needed a good laugh. So I guess we shall look forward to seeing Kate in a substantial fascinator or a very eyecatching hat (complete with boring outfit) on opening day, perhaps sitting on the Duke's knee in the carriage, as they make the rounds or flashing that insane grin of hers during the break? If I were a betting lady, I'd say this would be the year she would make an appearance there... I'd love to be a fly on the wall to hear the Duke's response to this one.

I see Ms. Nicholl is back in fantasy land after her momentary laspe into truth telling re: Kates utter laziness and refusal to get a job but of course the fact that Ms. Midds hasn't found a career was obvious to all of us. Such nonsense, and Kate still needs to get a real job.

Is this the Middleton's spin for the Get a Job story from two weeks ago. By saying Kate got invited by the Queen to stand in for Prince William at Royal Ascot. I think the press made up the story of Kate standing in for William at the wedding a few weeks ago. I don't think she was there as William's official stand in, but was there as a guest only.

Hosting a table for 10 VIPs sounds like a lot of Hard Work to me. Kate's letting it be known that she will not be doing a lot of wifey type work until she gets that little gold band with lottsa Real diamonds on it.

So guys, can someone please explain to me why Kate would refuse an invitation from the Queen herself? I don't understand. Using her Royal status? For what? The Queen is inviting her to "act like a royal"...again, why would she ever turn that down? I just don't get it!

One question: did Chelsy Davy get invited too? If the young royals are getting their feet wet at Ascot then is Ms. Davy invited to host a table of ten too? The queen should not show favorites when it comes to her grandsons' girlfriends. If Chelsy was good enough to be invited to P&A's wedding then she should be good enough to host a table @ Ascot too!

Don't know, but CD was seen shopping today at Chelsea area, maybe she bought something nice for that and both girls will do the double act, since according to this article both boys will not be able to go.

NOBODY refuses HM The Queen for anything. How does Katie Nicholls write this stuff with a straight face? First HM didn't like KM not having a job but now everything is okay and she gets a VIP table at Ascot!!! That's quite a turnaround. Either Katie Nicholls is a complete hack or she's completely in the dark about the RF.

This story sounds dumb. Sorry. Kate isn't royal and she doesn't act as or stand in for Prince William. She was invited to Peter's and Autumn's wedding because they invited her as they have known her for 5 years and nothing more. I don't believe the Queen would waste her time worrying about inviting her grandson's GIRLFRIEND to any event unless they were serious and was on the brink of an engagement hink Autumn. Even then he would have to see if it was ok to invite her as she wouldn't be his bride or princess yet. Kate is just Prince William's girlfriend. She is important only to him.

Actually this may sound a bit far fetched my theory, but Lillianna has made me think this, by saying she thinks something strange is going on in the other Katie Nicholl article thread. I'm wondering if this latest Katie Nicholl article is subtle dig at Kate Middleton for appearing not to have a job or work ethic.
Just reading between the headlines of the last Katie Nicholls article of The Queen tells Kate to get a job and now the The Queen has apparently ask Kate Middleton to host a table at Royal ascot, which if i'm right hosting a table for an event especially if its for charity would take a lot of hard work and effort from Kate to pull if off. Guess what the article says Kate has turned down the Queen's offer to do so, so we are led to believe.

I think Kate made the right decision for once - she should leave it as long as possible before she stands in for PW at a royal event again. There was definitely an increase in Killiam wedding hype in the media after Peter and Autumn's wedding, we certainly don't need more of it. Also, she would look even more like PW's . This story has nothing to with Kate's work ethic, or rather lack thereof. Hosting a 10 person party at a glamorous racing event in the royal enclosure is hardly work. Socialising with the upper crust is obviously what Kate enjoys most and is best at. She definitely would have gone if William was going. ~DO NOT attempt to get around the censors by starring out letters in offensive words!

and KM also gives her 'supposed' reasons in declining the personal invitation of HM, according to KN.
Anyway the total cost and bid so far for a VIP table for 10 is cheap L300.

Fantasy world of Katie Nicholl. Kate didn't represent William at the wedding she was INVITED. GIrlfriends can't "represent royals." Next Ms. Nicholl will say Kate will "represent" the Queen on a royal tour and escort Prince Philip.
