Given he was part of the "tour", it would have been inappropriate had he not attended. I don't believe he deserves credit for participating in the parade

Maybe Harry does not deserve credit for participating in some parade, but then has William accomplished so much more?

Will they march in uniform? Btw. William did not get knighted because he accomplished anything but as heir to Edward III. Harry will not get the Garter for any accomplishment either but as well as heir to Edward III like all Royals. I was surprised to learn that Edward and Andrew only joined in 2006. I guess Harry has a long wait ahead of him.

Isnt it Harry's duty to participate in this parade? If so, he should not get credit for doing his duty. I think he is doing a great job as of late. He might have to wait awhile tho to become a knight of the Garter. Maybe Harry does not deserve credit for participating in some parade, but then has William accomplished so much more?
Harry is becoming the star of the family... he is starting to outshine them all!!

Andrew should have received the honor sooner and Harry deserves it as true veterans who have actually served in war zones. I guess second sons no matter what they accomplish will always be somewhat ignored. Back on topic I don't see this as being given credit as much as it shows how much Harry supports his comrades.

Prince Harry takes part in a memorial parade and service for troops killed during his tour of Afghanistan June 18, 2008 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Household Cavalry officer joined 200 servicemen and women to attend the service at St Giles' Cathedral. Prince Harry: I generally don\'t like England that much and, you know, it\'s nice to be away from all the press and the papers and the general ***e they write.

The Order of the Garter has nothing to do with fallen troops or war zones.

I love it how he wears his emotions on his sleeve. He is very devoted to the army and showing his suport for his fellow soldiers. More and more people are starting to see this too. God bless Harry BTW. He looks really good in his uniform! I love a manin a uniform
