The Sun

Quote
ROYAL Zara Phillips and rugby star boyfriend Mike Tindall are in talks to star in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

They are said to top the BBC’s wishlist for the ballroom dancing reality show.

BBC is dying to get any royal it seems!

Good for them.
I hope that she is not accused of using her Royal connections, like her brother; and we don't get article saying she made this and that amount.

I'd like it if she got the chance because she likes sports and activities. However, I do think that it would be a bad idea for them in terms of public image. There maybe another fiasco like there was about PP and AK selling the rights to Hello! magazine.

I think it will turn out badly in terms of PR.   Remember Prince Edward's attempt to go "entertainment" with the RF?  Hilariously BAD idea!!!   lmao

Zara has appeared on A Question of Sport on BBC TV. If she is willing to do a quiz show she may well be willing to do a dance show. This show has the same format as Dancing with the Stars.

The only thing I am concerned about is that if she does not win, it may look bad; and the tabs will always bring or write about the fact that she lost the title.

It says on Wikipedia that it is the same format as the Dancing with the Stars, and that the British version, Strictly Come Dancing, was the original format and that format/show was exported to other countries.

I think it would be hard for Zara Phillips to win in either case.  If she wins they may say she won because she is the granddaughter of the Queen, and if she looses they may say that she could not win…..but I hope she wins.
It would also be interesting to see how the rating of the show changes.

Ugh, really? I have to be honest, I don't mind watching that kind of show, but I think its utterly tacky to participate.

Speaking of tacky...:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1033133/Ohh-ehh-chuck-Zara-Phillips-gets-saddles-looking-like-Coronation-Streets-Ena-Sharples.html
