I think he should be allowed to wear the medal. Why not?

I think this is great about the medal...congrats to Prince William and crew, and I'm really happy about the team effort between The Royal Navy and the US Coast Guard....Long and forever may it continue....!!

Because British soldiers don't normally wear foreign medals.

That's what Colin was saying earlier (re: p. Harry ) that service medals in the UK are mailed out to recipients.

How will anyone know if or anyone else the medal for sure unless they or William can wear it in public? That why I think the Queen will okay the medal to be worn by British miltary and Navy. What does everyone think?

Mine was sent in the post but that isn't always the case. Prince Harry received his from Princess Anne.

The Queen can't make that decision.

No one has mentioned, as an ABC report did, that the drugs boat was SINKING anyway.  lmao   Is just dumb luck?

No, no... they sink drug boats after they make their arrests.

The government, but his commanding officer can allow it within his own unit.

At high seas, a speed boat doesn't have much resistance if your being chased by sea (frigate) and by air (chinook)...choppy waters, waves.
