Wills 4-Ever!! Willite #79

Thanks for the link Kezza.
I think it's cute, and really flattering!  If anyone here has watched the Simpsons, they know that it's considered to be an honour by the big stars to be a guest on the Simpsons cartoon show.

The article says the creator of the Simpsons has two possible story lines that would be implemented after Wills and Kate get married, and one of them has involves the scenario of the Simpsons visiting England and Homer accidentally stumbling into Wills and Kate's wedding reception, and flirting with the Queen!

It sounds like a great story line!  I hope it actually happens, it could be one of the highest rated Simpson shows ever.

I can't see how anyone would consider this to be a bad thing.  When I was a little girl there used to be a show on CBC television that my family watched entitled called "Spitting Image" or something like that.  The show was so funny, and it had sort of puppets of Dame Thatcher and the whole royal family including Charles and Diana.  The puppets did somethign funny every week, and the show was really popular.  Supposedly even HM watched that show and laughed.

Everyone enjoys the Simpsons, if they put Wills and Kate into a cartoon about their wedding, that should be really cute and funny.  I'd bet Wills would love it!

^^:chuckle: lmao I think it would be hilarious!! It will never happen though. The Queen would probably have a heart attack if William & Kate agreed to guest star on The Simpsons.

I think so, too. I see the humor in the suggested synopsis, but I just think it would be somewhat degrading for William and Kate to do something like that. I know Tony Blair did voice for the Simpsons a while back, but for some reason I just can't see William and Kate do the same.

It would be the only wedding we will see of K+W in the next 2 years. I bet Kate would love to see how her dream could come true one day

I think the Simpson producers already knew that W+K would never accept. They used their engagement rumors and popularity in order to get publicity for their show.  just PR

Everyone enjoys the Simpsons,

I bloody hell don't. Sorry but I think they're ugly and the jokes aren't that funny either.

This is a joke... William has become a laughing stock basically. If he and kate do this OMG there will republicans screaming... as future king he cant.

He doesnt have any public speaking skills... he has to actually hold a pulic speach fiorst to get experience and reading from a bible in a monotoned voice doesnt really mean is good!!!

If it is true this is just PR for the show.... the queen would never allow it. William needs to do something with his reputation and announcement on his future plans havent really done anything to boost it!!

I agree with ML. I love the Simpsons and I find the suggestion hilarious.  lmao "I D'oh!"  lmao But of course William will never do something like this (unfortunately). What's bad about having a little humour about the constant engagement speculation? I doubt William takes all the blabber in the press seriously and why should he?

Quite.  The two have become laughing stock.

Do you mean Prince William and his girlfriend? They haven't even been consulted.
