Oh boy, here we go again. Brace yourselves, ladies! I'll bring some refreshments for the soap opera that may unfold.

Thanks for posting Wanda.

2 I'm sorry but William's family has every right to have an opinion on his girlfriend. It's not like they have her picture on a dart board, they're just trying to help William when he asks for advice. What person DOESN'T ask a parent, especially a same-sex parent, for advice on their relationship at least once in a blue moon? Lord knows I've asked my mother for advice before.

William is the future king and because of that any woman he dates seriously is going to be under constant scrutiny from the public AND his family- the ROYAL FAMILY. I know it sucks, I wouldn't want it to be me, but that's just how it is. Kate really needs to chuck it all up to experience and DEAL WITH IT. If she wants that tiara so bad, she's going to have to get passed his family first. And I don't think that's such a bad (or unnecessary) thing.

William is too stubborn to listen to advice. He might ask for it, but he wouldn't take it.

Oh boy, oh boy, popcorn cooking tonight and all weekend watching my computer for news. I wonder what leaks we'll get from the Middleton household and Kate's friends!  lmao  31

I'm sure her friends and family will paint her as the suffering victim once again.

Yet this article clearly states that none of William's close friends went to Kate's charity thing...Jamie MW, Tom VS, and Guy Pelly were all there. And the evening ended in a row with photographers? Kate looked like she was doing anything BUT having a fight with photographers, she was grinning from ear to ear.

If so-called journos can't get basic and proven facts straight, why should anything else in the article be credible?

I think this article is just a tabloid looking to stir something. As Rhiannon said, it is missing some facts. I'm sure William had turned to his father for some advice and maybe William & Kate are in trouble, but as I said, this article is just looking to stir something up.

I question the 'row with photographers' too.  It didn't look like anything happened.  The pictures and story would have been EVERYWHERE immediately if something had happened.

Totally agree, Rhiannon. If even the basics are wrong which should be the far more easy information to access why should the more private things be true? It's just the press playing their ususal guessing game and trying to figue out what's behind William's current decision. Unfortunately they do a far worse job than most of us here do.

Here's the other side of the story (I so love it when several papers have totally contradictory "information" on the same subject  especially when both quote friends of Kate )

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/mandrake/3023613/Mandrake--Kate-Middleton-happy-to-wait-to-walk-up-the-aisle.html

Quote
Friends of Kate, who turns 27 in January, say she is, however, only too happy to enjoy her unwedded bliss. "Kate and William both know that as soon as they get married everything will change for her," says one of the Prince's chums. "Neither of them wants to get married until Kate is ready to have children."

I don't think Kate enjoys "unwedded bliss" I think she wants the ring. I've known some "Kates" who always wanted a wedding and soon but the BF says he wants to wait, and she smiles (not sounding entirely convincing) that "she's not ready for marriage either."

I agree with everyone about the facts and details in the article, they are off. The point about PW's close friends NOT attending the event are wrong, Guy Pelly and his girlfriend were there. Beatrice was there, a cousin, surely there were a few signs of friendship between royals, close friends, and Kate.

HOWEVER, something rings true about the "tone" of the article for me and I am going to copy Serene Grace and look for popcorn in the cupboard. I feel that something is about to blow and the feeling has been there ever since the rollarskating charity photos came out.

Anyasha, Excellent post about asking parents for dating advice and I like the way you addressed constraints of being a royal. You are so wise!

You know, I'm with Rhiannon...They got some basic facts wrong.  Guy Pelly was there...one of Prince William's closest friends.  And I didn't see any indication of a "fight" with photogs.  I think this piece is rubbish.  And I'm NOT a Kate fan.  But come on, if you can't even get the basics that are documented in pics correct, I question everything in this story...sorry to say.

I don't think Guy Pelly being there is really a good indication that she and William aren't having trouble or something isn't still brewing behind the scenes. I think Guy was at events with her when they broke up before, he is friends with Harry and William.(Guy seems good at being friends with everyone) Didn't Guy go to Holly Branson's party with Kate on the airplane when they broke up before, not sure. Guy is also a club manager or something, I think he would go,regardless. I just found it odd no other Royals, where's Lord Fred, is he away, Lady Gabriella what about her(well her mother probably would advise her to stay away hahaha) where is Harry is he away?
I'm not sure about the photog fight, but maybe it wasn't Kate involved maybe it was some other patrons,or people , who knows. I do wonder why people seem to be holding Kate when she is walking out though, could they have been protecting her from some earlier photog onslaught and the press called it a fight?
(or was she drinking?)

I agree with you a bit.. There is something about to happen. The photos of Kate were truly plastered all over the place..If the The Queen and perhaps Charles ever wanted this romance over, this is the time it will happen. The photos were her downfall, plus NOT working, ever!!

Seriously, I would like to thank everyone who regularly keeps us updated -it keeps me from having to do online search & watching television.

Just like what some of you said:  "Popcorn time!!1" lmao lmao lmao lmao

Even if the rollerskating photos showed Kate having a good time and nothing else. What do you think the Queen thinks about the spread eagle photos of the woman who could be Queen by marriage to her grandson the future King? Do you think she will just shrug the photos off and say "kids will be kids, glad she had fun at the roller disco?"

The only one who's going to decide to stay or not with that is William.Unfortunately the man doesn't seem to want to wake up already!

I think P. William has been awake for a quite sometime now.  He's just going about it slowly & carefully & not let Kate in on it until he announced his intention to serve 5 years in the military - sort of not giving her a chance to argue???  My guess - shock therapy.

I think a certain amount of wheels are coming off in Kate's mind you're crazy!.

As for being awake, I think William is wide awake and tiptoeing out of her life.

I wonder if the courtiers staged an intervention and had it out with William over his shredded public image and that's why he is off training and getting all the chaos out of his system.

Daily Star is about the least believable sourse. Compared to it, Daily Mail is the pillar of credibility.
