This is good news that he is seeking a career. Charles will reign for awhile before William. Time for William to secure a job, get married and have a some piece of normalcy before the inevitable hits. I hope Kate and him enjoy the short time they will have before he is crowned.

Well so far it's good that we're not getting the over the top, Wills has single-handedly saved the world news that we usually get.  If he holds the course with this my faith in him will be renewed.  I'm crossing my fingers that he won't disappoint me.

Amun,
While I agree 100% what you said above. I put most of the blame on William's worthless PR people. He can share the blame, assuming he approves what they put out. But they are the ones who are the supposed experts, if he approved it it would have been on their advice. He needs new people NOW!! They, along with Kate have put his reputation in the sewer. Again he shares the blame. However, play along with this. No Kate, EVER, PR people doing a 'GOOD' job. His antics would not have done even 1/16 of the damage to his rep that he has now. Even the Helli stunt would not have been as bad. Still bad, just not as bad. For the record I do not think William is perfect, but I believe one of his biggest problems is trusting the wrong people. Both personally and professionally.

Agreed.  I think his pr went WAY over the top because of the bad press he was getting.  They need to keep Kate out of it because she brings nothing but bad press along with her lately.  They tried to make him out to be the savior of the British armed forces and it was laughable.  The reaction they got is the reaction they deserved.

Wills is doing what he enjoys doing.  They need to leave him alone, let it be.  Give him some peace.  We don't need second by second updates that he's a "natural" at everything he touches in the military.  He needs to stay low-key for a while and what he's doing right now is exactly what needs to be done.  I hope he is having a wonderful time with whatever it is that he's doing and I'm sure he is doing well at it.  More power to him.

At least William is doing something constructive, not playing at working for a charity and still hanging out at fashion shows and falling out drunk out of pubs.

As far as falling out of clubs drunk .... in her defense (I can't believe I'm going to do this) but she hasn't done that in a while - a long while.  Now flashing her privates to the world ... well that was only a few days ago.  But that doesn't count because it was for charity.  (can you feel the sarcasm?)

It's okay, we all end up doing things we thought we would never do to a certain extent.

Admittedly she hasn't been boozing around.

You have marvelous sarcasm

Perhaps an RAF career would be good for a Wills/Kate marriage. RAF Married Quarters are mostly on the bases and guarded. What could be safer for a young couple hoping to have a 'normal-ish' married life away from the press.

MrsB makes a good point though.   if William wanted to live a relatively normal married life (with whoever he ends up marrying Wink ) now would probably be a pretty good time.  or at least anytime before becoming Prince of Wales.  there would be huge media intrest but they would be more or less protected from the media within the base itself and their privacy would probably also be protected/respected by the other people living on base.

true true... since he's not engaged yet to Kate... there's still a chance of them not ending up together.

The last time she flashed she was letting him know what he was missing, according to some.
I think when she flashes it's her mating call to him...... (even when it''s accidental, it's not accidental
perhaps. )
Maybe she figures he'll come home more often from RAF duties if she does a flash here and there.

I guess with the recent news (from Katie N.) that Prince William will be gone for the next 7 years - I guess we'll be subjected with more Waity Katy crotch shots.  Just like what wills said above "mating calls."  Or like a fog horn!!!

From what I've read Prince William maybe stationed at the Valley base in Wales, because thats where the Search & Rescue training takes place.

http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafvalley/aboutus/sartu.cfm

Kinloss does have a search & rescue team there, but the training doesn't take place there it is in Wales from what I have read.
