If Kate was at Charles's b'day I'll assume they are still together till further notice. They've had tiffs and breaks before and gotten back together so I doubt it wouldn't been much different this time round. The thing is with these two is I reckon they try and carry on where they left off and never try and resolve whatever issue that caused the trouble in the first place. William promises Kate something or she promises him something and then they carry on as before thinking everything will be fine. Issues tend to pop up with these two when it involves their future so if William is still not sure on their future and where he thinks it'll end up it won't be long before issues pop up again.

They need to find away around whatever issues over their future they have now or once William joins the RAF it'll be a lot more difficult. My view is that if these two are having issues over their future then the RAF could easily see the end of them. If they can get through the next 2 years of William's RAF training then I'll say yes they'll marry but it'll be the biggest challenge of their relationship they have ever faced and unless they resolve whatever issues they have before William goes into the RAF it'll finish them. I think the RAF will see the end of William and Kate's relationship but it all depends on them and how strong they are as a couple. If they are strong as they have been made out in the past they'll survive but if they keep having issue after issue which causes tiffs and breaks etc, and it is still going on now the RAF will finish them.

If Kate turned up at Highgrove last night then I assume she and Wills have made up until I hear otherwise. But if they have just made up it could still be on shaky grounds which is a concern for the relationship if it is to survive William's RAF stint. There is two months left now till William's RAF stint, in which he may not see Kate for long periods of time, so these two have two months to sort out their issues as a couple or they could find themselve falling apart. Will's stint in the RAF will test their relationship on every level and this training that William will receive will be far longer then any other stints he has done in the armed forces. 18 months I believe this training will last (correct me if I am wrong) most of which he'll spend away from Kate. If they survive this period as a couple they'll marry if they don't then I reckon this relationship will finish sooner rather then later. It all depends on them and whether or not they can keep it together.

i agree with your logic lady in waiting but i don't think william runs on logic at all - they could get through the next two years fine and then he breaks up with her... only thing is more an dmore of the society girls are being snatched up...

I think no matter what happens @ the end of the day, the bottom line is that Kate will never leave.  She (along with her family) wants to be a princess @ any price IMO!!!  She'll wait under dooms day, therefore, it will have to be Prince William to be level headed about it.

Hopefully the RAF will make a man out of him. I feel he is getting there but I think by the time he's finished in the RAF he'll have fully matured. He's like cheese really, takes time to mature and when it is fully matured it looks darn good.

Does Rebecca English seriously expect anyone to believe she knows about the breakfast the morning after when she can't even tell us when the girls arrived, what they wore and what the state of W&K is?

Mandrake is claiming the Girls were there, but again like any other media reports coming out about this party treat it with a grain of salt.

Don't forget the crackers.

I agree with you people. Unless Rebecca English got an exclusive from somewhere which I doubt how would she know what went on in the palace?

I'm giving the eye witness account that was posted as somewhat truthful.  Since we slammed ZoeP when she revealed that Wills & Kate was at that barracks party, I have a hard time jumping to the conclusion that all accounts are false and people are making things up.

That account had some truth to it.  I don't know about the breakfast though.  It seemed too campy for me to believe.  And even though I doubt most newspaper accounts, I'm not going to dismiss them all either without giving it some consideration.

As far as anything goes, Kate will do whatever it takes to marry into the RF.  Period.

another article mentioning the girls at the party.....

Over 60 and still sexy? The question for Prince Charles and Rod Stewart--Telegraph
Quote
Stewart, 63, who waived his usual £1 million fee for the evening, tempted Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, 61, on to the dance floor along with Prince William, 26, and Prince Harry, 24, and their girlfriends Kate Middleton, 26, and Chelsy Davy, 23, during a performance which partygoers described as a "private pop concert".

Also, the poster on the BRW site mentioned that Rod Stewart had an interview with a journalist from 'Rock and Folk' magazine, (www.rocknfolk.com) she said that the interview was on the French television channel 'Canalplus' (www.canalplus.fr) this morning, 16 November.

She said that Rod Stewart confirmed the presence of Kate and Chelsy at the Highgrove party during the interview with the Rock and Folk journalist.  She said Rod spoke of the two girlfriends, and mentioned that he will be back with his group Faces starting 17 November.

I haven't found the interview yet, so I can't verify that it did or didn't happen.  I think it's a video interview.  To search in french, just enter the word you want to search for under the field 'recherche'.

Surely no one doubts at this point that both Kate and Chelsy were at Highgrove . No pictures of their dates appeared either, that's the usual drill for a Highgrove party.

If neither girl had been there, it would be headline news.
Accept it. They were both there. Neither couple is broken up or is on the rocks....regardless of that silly story with Chels clubbing with jungle man and telling him to hide from the photojournalists.

I'm not going to jump to the conclusion that they were there either.  There wasn't solid evidence of it, however I will give the eyewitness more validity and guess that they probably were there.  That's not absolute proof either.  Wills and Kate haven't made an appearance together in more than two months.  Even if you're trying to stay lowkey, you don't want to leave people guessing either - and then drawing or jumping to conclusions of their own regarding the state of your relationship.

The eyewitness account didn't equate to anything being lovey, dovey between Wills and Kate.  It just indicated that she was there.  And from what I read, it seemed that they were more like friends than boyfriend/girlfriend.  Harry and Chelsy holding hands and moving through the room together seems like what most couples do at a party.  They work the room together - seperate for a bit - come back together, etc, etc.  If you want to believe the eyewitness account, Kate moved around the room on her own, talking to people by herself.  She interacted with Wills and he whispered something in her ear that made her laugh.  I do that with my husband, my friends, and my co-workers at times.  There was nothing of the eyewitness account that would indicate they were there as a couple - just that she was there and he was there - and Harry and Chelsy held hands and moved through the room as a couple.

Draw from it what you will but that's what I got from it.  This party was planned LONG before all this stuff happened between Wills and Kate, probably when they were on very good terms with each other.  My guess is that something significant has changed in that relationship.  And if his friends are trying to pull him away from her, then there's more going on behind the scenes than we know at this point.  You don't hear Harry's friends trying to pull him away from Chelsy.

And more power to them , Princess H !! Bet they had loads of fun dancing and joking with old friends..much jollier than their Fa's 50th just after their Mum had died. No pictures of that rave either...never are from Highgrove, as Maple Leaf mentioned.
