Neigh! Kate is allergic to horses--TimesKathy Lette, the Aussie author, attended a polo match recently in which William and Harry were playing, reports Reader’s Digest, and spotted Kate sitting alone in a tent, watching intently. “I’ve got to pay attention to every second,” Kate said. “I’ll be discussing the game in minute detail later on.”
“Why don’t you play polo your-self?” inquired Lette. “I’m allergic to horses,” replied Kate.

I do agree about the name calling. I think you can dislike someone without calling them names.

She is one smart girl, If I was a journo and approached her tent and she gave me those replies to my questions - I would immediately know that I am being shown the door in a 'polite' manner. “I’ve got to pay attention to every second,” - Bug off Lette, I don't even know you. Why don’t you play polo your-self?” inquired Lette. “I’m allergic to horses,” replied Kate. 2nd rebound of Lette (the journalist).

The Times excerpt totally missed the point, instead of placing the emphasis on her allergy to horses, they should have focused on Waity's "musn't miss a single second" comment as a sign of her increasing desperation to bag Wills. Truly sad.

Well said, wannabe. That was exactly my thought when I first read the article. Any journalist should know it means "bugger off". LOL! Although I don't discount a possible mild allergy to horses, the fact that I've seen Kate in several pictures standing next to them means any allergy (if true) isn't severe enough to make her avoid them completely. In short, even if she can't ride a horse, she can still ride a horse-drawn carriage

I don't remember William AND Harry at the same game since... William's birthday (I think). How far back is "recently" anyway?

apparently Kate had riding lessons..or so was reported.. but she is now allergic.... this comment is interesting (daily mail) Now that is funny...I wonder if she is allergic or just a bad rider...... As for she has ' to pay attention to every second' to the polo match so that she can discuss in it in minute detail later on with William...OH DEAR ...me thinks she is trying too hard!

i cringed reading about kate having to pay attention to every minute detail of the game so she can discuss it with wills. kate tries too hard to be the perfect girlfriend to william. yet he doesn't seem to go to too much trouble for her, puting his career and everything else before her. it's pitiful.

I knew there was something else. How could I have forgotten about her "work allergic". What a pity she isn't allergic to William.

Maybe she is AFRAID of horses and uses the excuse that she is allergic to them. I can understand that. I have horses, they are scarry animals sometimes. If she says she is allergic to them, she won't have to ride them. If she was truly allergic, she couldn't be anywhere in the vicinity of them. I do have a friend that is allergic and he can't go anywhere NEAR the ranch without sneezing and coughing.
