I think Harry seems to have regressed as far as selecting women to date. No matter how Chelsy is knocked for being clingy (which in all honesty to me is ridiculous term applied to her--clingy means doing nothing by being there for a man and doing nothing else, she went to Uni and worked) she still went ahead for her post graduate degree. Whether she went to Harvard or to a Uni blocks from Harry she still has to WORK to get good grades. So saying that she chose the Uni closest to Harry "proves" she's clingy. I happen to agree that at times it appears that Harry has regressed in so far as women go. When I joined this forum, my opinion was that I did not view Chelsy as princess material. Since joining the forum, my opinion of Chelsy has deteriorated. I think this is largely due to the volume of opinions, and links to information other members have provided. As for Astrid Harbord, well what can I say.......out of the fat into the fire. I agree 'clingy' can mean, 'being there for a man and nothing else', but that isn't how I meant it. I described Chelsy as being 'clingy', because of what I have read about her and because of some of her actions. I agree the only thing either of us have to go on is what we read in the media about Chelsy or Kate, as neither of us personally know them. I also agree we are each of us selective in what we chose to believe and not to believe. But in my opinion, Chelsy could have done a postgraduate course in South Africa. There was absolutely no reason for her to come to England accept to be with Harry. According to another poster, Chelsy applied to Bristol Uni, which would have been closer to Highgrove in Gloucestershire as well as Windsor Barracks in Berkshire. (The last place being where Harry was garrisoned when serving with the Blues & Royals.) Apparently Chelsy's grades were not good enough to go to Bristol, but she was accepted by Leeds. Then there was the arrival scene at the airport, where Harry was late because he went to the wrong terminal. It has been reported Chelsy was annoyed that the press found out about their romance. For someone who wanted to keep a low profile, she had a strange way of going about it. The airport welcoming only alerted the media, plus it sent out the message 'he's mine, hands off.' Chelsy knew Harry's ambition was to join the military. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows the military is a full time commitment, and that you are likely to be posted in several locations in the country and also be sent overseas. According to the media, again, Chelsy was annoyed that Harry spent a great deal of time with his army pals and complained that she never saw him enough. What I meant by clingy, Chelsy is a person who comes across as a person who is in need of constant attention, in need of Harry's constant presence, she comes across as suffocating, in contrast to Harry who comes across as someone who needs to feel free. In the things I've read about them, and again, it depends on how you interpret that, Harry and Chelsy had a great deal in common, they are both openly affectionate and are both extremely sociable and laidback. Yet the difference is, Harry comes across as laissez faire and foot loose. Whereas, Chelsy comes across as smothering and stifling. As for your closing statement. 'Give me a break! And how do those who say this know it? Did Chelsy tell them? It's the same people drawing conclusions and stretching interpretations to find "excuses" to say mean things about Chelsy. She must have intelligence to do it. Chelsy is not given enough credit by those who seem to be annoyed with whatever she does (for some reason).' Actually Sandy, you replaced the name Chelsy with Kate, then this same statement could also be levelled at you. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. We all have our opinions and we all have a right to express them, irregardless of what you or I think is ridiculous.

Chelsy clung onto Haz as long as she possibly could. I think he had enough. Thanks for the amusing link as well!!

Thank you , Pingarelho, for those pics. First time I looked at them and they are amazing...Chelsy looks terrific and the scenery is awesome... ( and just think, not a bar or pub in sight, so she does have other interests in life!!) again, terrific photos... Regarding Chelsy coming to England because she was trailing ( my interpretation of the post), Harry... How do any of you know what the "bar talk or pillow talk" took place when he may have been the one to suggest coming! I doubt very much she would pick up and take up residence as she did without some serious prompting by him!! You NOR I know the conversations that led to the circumstances of her being in the UK>>

But Harry refuted her pleas stating he can't leave his homeland and the Queen wouldn't allow it etc. So Chelsy had no choice but to trail him to England leaving her beloved home land behind. Just my ten cents.

Pingherello, I've just see the pics you posted. Thank you very much. Having viewed them, my guess is these were pics taken on Chelsy's gap year. I think I read somewhere that she went to South America with her brother Shaun, and I swear a couple of those pics are taken in Brazil.

All I can say is she was pretty naive if she thought Harry could just leave Britain. I highly doubt she thought that.

I simply cannot believe that she thought the prince would walk away from his responsibilities...Even her uncle KNEW the facts of the relationship and said so... I think there is a lot BS printed in the newspapers, and she is attributed for saying a lot of statements she never said!!

I know I said I couldn't post anything for a few weeks but this piece of gossip is just TOO good!! We all remember Anna Barnard right? She is Shaun Davy's ex girlfriend and she apparently dumped him after some embarrassing underwear pictures surfaced on this forum. Well she is now dating Charlie Simpson from the old British boyband 'Busted'!! He is now trying launch a career with his new group 'Fightstar'. It seems a few of Chelsy's friends have a taste for fame!
