What is there some sort of bloody blackout in the UK or something?  I hope the US news picks this up.

Well that's... interesting. Does anyone have the actual magazine which they could scan. I'd like to see the full article and pictures.

Anywho... in the last paragraph it says Michael, but don't they mean James? Unless Papa Midds has a girlfriend.

Reacting like a cornered lioness defending her cubs, Carole reportedly chased away one photographer, who'd spotted Michael apparently trying to urinate on a fence. Michael's girlfriend also tried to shield him from sight.

Michaels girlfriend, which Michael and girlfriend ? a huge flaw in the article...Daily Woman, pregnant stories, Oh Gosh ! Hahaha

And no other paps got it, or the tabloids are truly banned. Hmmmm

What's up with her eyes??

Also the part where she's envious of William being able to party....  And where is papa Middleton?  How did James get so drunk?  I wonder why they didn't have a car waiting right outside if he was so drunk?

Lol, I can't wait for the excuses Kate sycophants will make for this family.

Kate looks wasted and her eyes look half closed. Her cheeks look puffy.
I wonder why the UK press hasn't run these photos yet.

I'll be waiting for that, too. lol

Oh, what a shame!

Duhh..If she's envious that Wills can party, then why don't she go to a party, too? You know, just like the rest.

Tsk.., the problem with Kate is that, she is too concerned with her status, with what the people will think of her, with the Crown, with her future as a Royal.. tsk..

Poor Kate...

oh yea she is ready to be a princess .NOT

According to the article at the link you provided, either Kate's brother James or some unknown brother named 'Michael' was really drunk.  James Middleton and Kate Middleton are not the same person.  As James is a 22 year old guy and Kate is a 27 year old girl, it isn't difficult to tell them apart.  Why should James supposedly being drunk have anything to do with Kate's readiness or lack of readiness for anything?

(directed towards the Forum in general)

I clicked on this link: http://womansday.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=806111

And read the article from top to bottom.  There wasn't anything in the article about Kate being envious of William being able to party.  As a matter of fact, the article doesn't say that Kate herself did much of anything at all.

The article mentions Kate 'covering her face', but the photograph accompanying the article shows Kate with her hand up to her eyes as if she's shielding them from bright lights.  In the photo it's dark outside, yet Kate's face looks very well-lit in the pic; the paparrazzi's lights look really bright.  It looks like Kate put her hand up to her eyes to shade them against the glare of the lights:         http://womansday.9msn.com.au/img/celebrity/kate_1809.jpg

Anyway, the article basically says that James Middleton went out with his family to celebrate his 22 birthday, and he was really drunk when they left the club, and he acted like it.

I don't see how James' supposed drunken state would be Kate's fault, or anyone else's fault other than James himself.  James is responsible for what he pours down his own throat.

The article says the Royals will be upset, but why would they be?  If they're not upset about Lord Freddie Windsor's soon-to-be wife appearing nude in an international film, or Princess Eugenie running stark naked through the woods on the grounds of Marlborough, then why should Kate Middleton's brother getting drunk on his 22nd birthday cause a stir?

I agree ... The Royals won't be upset ...

William is with Kate because he wants to be ... writing articles like this won't make any difference to William either way ... if William's future is with Kate)({or not) either way William could care less about these articles.

Once they have finished with kate they will be back again to target other members of the Royal Family ... that's their bread and butter the more scandal the better.  I am not defending the Middleton family either way I just think these articles good or bed will have negative effect on William's future plans whatever they may be.

Interesting thread. Having only been posting here for a short time, I am still struggling to figure out the mindset of some of the members here. Kate's brother allegedly gets trashed on his birthday and has to be helped into a taxi and suddenly she is not worthy of the Royal family, yet I cannot seem to find the thread that condemns Zara Philips boyfriend,Mike who was convicted of driving drunk. Where is the outcry that he should not marry Zara? Are they also not longtime lovers who are expected to become engaged at some point? Kate Middleton has not shamed anybody. This article is not even coming up when you do a google search. It seems like the UK press cannot trash Kate much doesn't it? I wonder why? If she and William were not together, she would surely be fair game. It must have taken some pretty powerful lawyers to obtain a deal like this. Hmmmmm..

Oh man what's the big deal...the Middleton's are no worse than the Windsor's themselves...!

James is a young man, of course he's going to get trashed on his birthday. So what if he was caught peeing; so was Prince William. So what if Carole Middleton lashed out at photographers; Prince Harry, Princess Diana and Prince Philip all have too!

All the young Windsor's have been photographed absolutely trashed, the only difference here is the Middleton's don't have any PR people to cover up the story.

Well I guess the Queen would have kicked William and Harry out of the family long ago if drunken behavior is not tolerated!  People - this is just more garbage.

I agree that the RF have their own woes when it comes to members of their family drinking. Harry and WIlliam have both been seen stumbling out of bars and into cabs.. several times.
Funny , though, over the years no one ever read about Andrew and Edward doing the same. Never heard of Charles even, being drunk...
I do agree with King Arthur, that she is not royal material!!!
