Good post Stix!

And, I think it would be awesome to have a "Royal Forum VIP" tent... you bring the tent, I'll make the sign xD

I'm happy for you American's ... and for one I do hope some of you attend the polo (if the story is true) and one of you actually get to meet the man himself ... or awkwardly stare at him and get thrown out of the event by Harry's scary security men!

Good luck ladies - you have my full support smile

Wow, that is a ridiculous article, Stix. You're absolutely right, it makes perfect sense that in the middle of a recession the only people who could afford to donate a significant amount of money are the rich people--the kind who'd go to a polo match! (Or, you know, PAY to go to the polo match. Obviously we'll all be there like crazy people in Stixie's pup tent. Hehehe...)

That's more or less my goal lmao Although, I just got invited to a wedding on May 30th, so I may not be going after all...

^o God o God o God!   that is exactly what i'm worried about....that the DM's got this totally wrong.  maybe this is Katie Nicholl's revenge for all the times we pointed out her mistakes?

^Haha... label it Boujis... I love that idea. Hey, some of those clubs do have tents at normal polo matches, don't they? So it wouldn't be that unbelievable. Lol.

I am a bit worried about it as well, since it isn't on the POW site yet either!! Nobody buy any plane tickets yet!

I attached the pic to that one post... it is still there! And you're right - they say Red isn't very bright, maybe we could trick him into our tent by putting out of Boujis sign instead xD laugh

So, girls, you can catch him if he will or not he will be on tiles at Pink Elephant Nightclub,527 West 27th Street
New York, NY 10001, United States
The drink is expensive, but maybe you can find some sponsor.Dress like into club, think Carrie in eleg, smart dress and stilletos met her individuality and prince Harry's push up boobs a little out, but not very much, sexy, not tarty.Mainly smile and dance, but don't purse him, cos there will be crowd.if you are blonde, better, he likes booby blondes [prob.a 80 per cent of female Manhattanistas].Yes, he loves lollipops, but not girls lollipops, EDITED FOR INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT.be nice, but not pushy.
When he will ask you for the date next day, you know, you will have advantage, he will be in time pressure leaving America, say, you want to go to the patisserie - it is demure, he likes sweet and it runs in family.Think, one of his grandmother [gee, I forgot if the one from Spencers or the 2nd one from Windsors was grumpy tomboys eating cakes secret.under the table],but sure, Victoria Sponge comes from love for sweets[and full plum figure] of Queen Victoria.
Afterwards talk to him,you has to be nice, listening and also chatty, but not too much and not pushy. It is called small smart talk and remember, make slight jokes but in demure way, nothing said openly as well as another what we will do.I guess,he will eat a half of stall with cakes and sweets, and then complain how he isn't fit etc, so tell him, he can loose it by some excer.together and look into his eyes [he will think another way, he is very easy and like his father and grandfather and brother and etc] and pull back and also stand out of crowd of fainting souting girls with full make up:Rollerskates - inlines in Central Park and you can borrow it immed. and he likes immed.actions and straigh forwards, easy going, advent.outdoorsy girls who don't whine [huge experience with his father and his tenor terror:]].EDITED FOR INAPPROPRIATE CONTENTThen you see.His cousin also landed his bride abroad and via email, don't worry, letters and emailing, mailing runs in the family, more people did.It will be nice, if he can take for his brother in USA American pie, that Dundee cake wasn't for purchase, but pie and cake isn't a tart and mainly not presenting instant cake or speaking too much.Oh, I loved the movie, it was good fun.

Prince Harry to visit New York City
13th May 2009
Prince Harry is to make a two-day visit to New York City where he will carry out a number of official engagements focusing on the British community, US veterans and young people. He will also take part in the Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic match in support of American Friends of Sentebale, the US branch of Sentebale, the charity of which Prince Harry is Patron. The visit, the official parts of which will be supported by Her Majesty’s (HM) Consulate-General in New York, will last from Friday, 29th May to Saturday, 30th May.

The POW site article is very detailed girls.  Read on.

thank God!   i was seriously worried for awhile. laugh  great to hear that Prince Seeiso will be there as well.   i was hoping he'd be there too.  and a mystery guest according to the BBC....
Quote
A young British serviceman who was wounded in Afghanistan will join the prince on this part of the visit.
^putting my money on it being Ben McBean. Wink

he'll be revisiting some sites Prince Charles has been to i noticed.  and its interesting that although its an official visit the Queen is funding it herself.  i wonder if that's to do with all the trouble in the UK over MP's expenses?

I live near the city and I checked out the prices for the event the cheapest price for a ticket is a picnic for $500.00 and the VIP tickets go for $50,000.00 with train, subway and ferry to Governors Island that is too pricey. I think I might go to Ground Zero or to 125Th street where Hale house used to be I think he is going to be there with Prince Seesio if I knew the schedule. This recession totally bites. MY husband would kill me for paying those prices. 31

^yeah, it's a pretty big event and its in Manhattan so..... Wink  the article Allie posted above said there is dress code for ticket holders.....
Quote
There will be areas open to the public at no charge as well as those requiring tickets. In reverence to the long-time polo tradition, VIP guests will be asked to dress for the occasion: women in hats and men in summer suits.

but it's open to the public so you can probably get a peek for free.   a couple other articles said that he'll be flying home that evening so will miss the ball anyway.  so don't worry about not having a ticket.  although i feel bad for anyone who did and thought they'd get a chance to see/meet Harry at the after party. doh  there are some seriously disappointed women out there right now!

50K is way a lot of money, but since its for charity, I'm almost positive the top notch of the upper east side will attend, they will send their eligible daughters.
