I still can't believe it's true! Despite everything he's a legendary musician. Oh, I don't know what to say. At least he's resting in Neverland now in peace.

In spite of all the drama that surrounded his life he was an amazing man and singer. God just got a heavenly voice for his choir.

Okay, I was surprised by this although maybe I shouldn't have been. Fifty is quite young isn't it? You know what they say about Hollywood/celebrity deaths, don't you all? They go in threes so Jackson, F Fawcett, and who is next? Creepy but I don't mean to be mean spirited.
But anyway, MJ was a youngster. Does it seem people are dying younger these days or am I not seeing the human picture quite clearly? Hmmm....

OMG, this is really sad, unbelievable news. Michael Jackson had his own personal demons, but he was one of the greatest artists and entertainers in the whole world. He did a lot for humanity, and he was a very caring, giving person. My condolences to his children and his family and loved ones. This is really shocking and sad. RIP Michael.

There are no words now to describe the total loss to Michael's family, friends, and fans all over the world are feeling right now. I am so upset about Michael's tragic death that I took the day off (Friday) from work just to reflect over the memories I have of going to his concerts from the early days of the Jackson 5 to his solo career and again performing w/his brothers (the Pepsi tour of '84). The first concert I saw of Michael & his brothers was in October '71 (I think) @ Madison Square Garden in NYC. I went w/my bff who I lost in '07 to cancer--now I've loss them both! The life I knew at one time no longer exist for me. The losses are too much. Now, because of Michael's death, I no longer fear death--just accept that its part of life's course. Now, after some time past, I hope everyone realizes you should live life to the fullest--like its your last day on earth--be happy!! I wonder if the princes, along w/girlfriends & friends, intended to attend any of the concerts? Its ashamed now that they won't be able to meet one of the world's greatest entertainers that ever lived! The media showed the interview Michael did w/Barbara Walters right after Diana's death in '97 and Michael told how they talked over the phone after only meeting once at a concert (Michael asked Diana if it was okay to sing the song "Dirty Diana" and she said yes) about living life in a fishbowl. How the paps would chase after him in a car and he said he had to tell the driver to slow down or he would kill them! Michael did a tribute to Diana during one of his shows in London and the audience loved it! Talk about fate! I never stop believing in Michael nor his innocence re: charges of molesting children! I love you and will miss you--RIP!!

I was just watching CNN and they had a talk about MJs life and death and I couldn't help thinking that the man was an amazing dancer, a so-so musician and a seemingly troubled individual with seemingly many troubles in his personal and professional life. I am thinking at least he is now at peace wherever he is. This must bring much comfort to MJ himself and to his family. This is good even though his death really is sad. So, so, young.
What disgusts me is the way some people are talking about the cause of his death with such finality and even comparing him to Anna Nicole Smith in the last days of her life. Now I know MJ had troubles and it is understandable to discuss them at a time like this but I just feel without proof of the cause of his death such speculations should be put largely on the back burner so to speak until a toxocology and autopsy reports are finalised. What if he died of natural causes? Then no one can take back the words uttered and many people will believe the worst forever whatever the outcome of the impending results show. Whatever they show. I understand the reporting also although I find SOME of it a bit unseemly. It must make it extremely hard for the family and children right about now. The telly must be off limits right now. And the radio...
RIP... anyway, RIP.

I am beyond shocked and saddened; words fail to describe this tragedy. Say what you will about the child molestation accusations, but undeniable this man was the greatest entertainer/singer the world has seen in the last 30 years!!! The world mourns and we await closure, whether through a tribute, funeral or trial. The world needs answers, and we need them now!!!
