Her Majesty has kept her diary clear for the day of the men’s final – Sunday, July 5.

She has not visited the All England Club since 1977, when she was in the Royal Box to see Virginia Wade beat Betty Stove in the final to become the last Brit to win a Wimbledon singles title.
