Who knows if this is true -- but if it is it's about time someone put some brakes on Kate's seeming availability.

It might be true...though the couple according to the press shall be returning Thursday from Mustique. Straight to Balmoral for the Monday bank holiday Wink

Could see Kate and HM ringing bird necks together.

So homey. THe sight of the Otogenarian Queen and a royal wannabe wringing necks. So heartwarming indeed.

I think the article has a little too much information. I think Kate will be at Berkshire. Didn't Hello say she wasn't going to Balmoral? SUpposedly they are "in the know" at that magazine.

Of course, we don't know how true this article is but supposing there's some truth to it, IMO Her Majesty is so admirable. At least she doesn't see the need to answer to anyone or compromise her beliefs in order to cater to modernity.

I don't think they have ALL the inside information still stuck in Wills head. I think perhaps other information but the wedding date I doubt is shared with Hello.

i doubt separate rooms stop them at all.

anyone else think that the reporter said "the queen wants them in separate rooms so they wont shag" in an unnecessary complex way?
Quote
The Queen will not be inviting courting couple Prince William and Kate Middleton to disport themselves beneath a shared royal duvet at Balmoral.

This is one of the sovereign’s cardinal rules. In making sure that it remains set in stone, William’s granny has succeeded where many parents and grandparents have failed. She has resisted openly condoning the pursuit of premarital sex under her vaulted palace roof.

It’s not, you may be assured, that Her Majesty doesn’t realise Wills and his Kate have been happily indulging in sexy sleepovers for many a long year. It’s just that she doesn’t consider it seemly to give their pre-nuptial couplings a royal warrant.
it kinda bugs me.

Wills 4-Ever!! Willite #79

« Reply #7 on: August 26, 2009, 02:54:06 AM »

Considering that HM is an octogenarian, not to mention the dictates of Royal protocol, IMO it makes sense for HM to put Kate in the 'spare room'.  I imagine HM has the same rule for Mike Tindall if he visits with Zara, and Autumn if she visited with Peter before the engagement and marriage.

Besides, Wills has Tam-Na-Ghar cottage on the Balmoral estate.  If it's that important for him and Kate to sleep in the same bedroom they can always avoid any awkwardness by staying at the cottage and driving up to Balmoral Castle to see HM for lunch and dinner.  And if they stay at Tam-Na-Ghar, they'll be able to avoid having to change clothes so many times.

Sarah, DoY once wrote that she had to change clothes 3 to 4 times a day whenever she stayed at Balmoral or Windsor Castle when HM was in attendance.

It is heartwarming indeed and the queen would be having some fun at the expense of Katekins.

I'll bet Wills just loves his Tam-Na-Ghar cottage.  That seems about his speed.   Wink

Will her majesty lock the door?  I don't think so  Not amused!
it is really silly that people would think this is real. HM let Sophie stay at the palace before her marriage (I think). Huh so, why not allowing W and K have some fun. everybody knows that they don't see each other that often so... have mercy.... that poor couple hehe

Let's be frank. Who would feel comfortable sleeping in the same bed as their boyfriend/girlfriend at their Grandmothers place.......

It's just one of those trade offs. You don't want to believe your Grandparents have ever done the things you have done....and out of courtesy, you pretend that you can honestly wear white on your wedding day.

i think all of these is another B.S story until there are photo of the Queen and Kate hunting together then it is true. the media would do anything to get a photo they had so many photo they show the public and the rest for later when call for it, but nothing far more high pay check then the photo of the Queen and Kate  together or with her family talk about media heaven.

p.s gec i love your post especially these  line'' and out of courtesy, you pretend that you can honestly wear white on your wedding day'' well some pregnant women still wear white on their wedding day so it is safe to said white is not for virgin anymore those were in the past history time.

I am amassed about "new" journalist interested in writting about William and Kate.
Very soon we will know if this particular "new" journalist has recently got a "contact" with a source in the circs.  Or didn't have anything to write except for 'tradition' and a 'norm'.

Just last week the royal correspondent of the Express, AH wrote that W&K where not 'sleeping over' in Balmoral, but most likely and as usual in William's cottage, having dinner invites as usual with HM.

But now we have this "new" Vanessa Feltz from the same Express with the thread story of sleeping over in Balmoral and so on.

I guess we may possibly know the week of September 01.

IF this article is true and Her Majesty wishes they sleep in seperate rooms under her roof, I believe , both Kate and William will adhere to that wish..It will not be a problem...purely out of respect for The Queen and Grandmother...

It sounds so impressing.

Kate's greatness is so astonishing, stunning and blinding even for the Sun.

Sadly for Kate and her ambitious mother Carol though, I can reveal that there has been no invitation and neither will there be one this summer.

The Introduction of an article relates the argument, but the Conclusion defines the overall purpose
Learned that in school when making essays

“Besides, William has his own property on the estate for him to use and where he can entertain his friends. If he and Kate do visit they may be invited for dinner with Her Majesty up at the castle but there is no question they will stay overnight.”
Kate and William, both 27, may well visit the 50,000-acre Balmoral estate, where the Queen has historically spent her summers, next weekend, to mark the 11th anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, but they will stay where they have for the past four years, in Prince William’s cottage, bequeathed to him by the Queen Mother.

I forget -- what is the evidence that Carol is ambitious?  Was she supposed to have arranged for Kate to go to whatever school Wills did and then she bribed the provost with a cool million from UGG's money stash to ensure Kate was in the same classes and same building as William?  Then they used some black magic and injected Wills with some of that Love Potion #9.  Wow, I guess that is one ambitious mother.  Wink

Well, I don't know what to say. It can only be a good thing.

But I highly doubt that his aim is about to draw a manichaean perspective.

Perhaps Vanessa Feltz did draw it to the manichaean perspective...she (will) sleep in the 'spare room'.
