I don't see what the big deal is about when people say that Kate had a poster of William up on her wall at school.  Diana used to have a picture of Charles on the wall when she was at school.  I think it perfectly understandable that Kate had a pic on her wall of William when she was younger.  Lets face it, William used to be a heart throb when he was younger.  Some still look at William as a heart throb.  Each to their own.

its okay that she had his poster up her wall, but its not normal she followed him to StAndrews, enrolled in same major, went to Chile, and all other things she did (including her not having a job and being around William all the time). she seems to have everything planned to get that title & money by marrying him. Shes a creepy stalker IMHO and someone whos after a guy only for interest.

There's a possibility that He was the 'creepy stalker'.  He's got the resources to check on every person who wishes to surround him. OT, she went first to Chile before St. Andrew's enrollment, he followed later...

Interesting thought wannabe but I think both of you are grasping at straws...  If he was her stalker...me thinks he would of proposed but instead...he just can't make up his mind whether he wants to or not.

NOT necessarily! I believe our beloved Prince William is truly STUCK in a situation  that he does NOT know how  to resolve..Especially if he wants out of this relationship!!
IF there were NO opposition to William and Kates proposed marriage, why is it NOT become a public annoucement? Truly !! Why... No one is saying the date of marriage has to be given , it could even be said that the wedding would take place in the year of 20??... just confirm in all  senses that they are a couple, with wedding marriage to follow?

For the monarchy and the RF and courtries, this is such a simply plan, providing the couple AGREE they are a couple!!

I don't know the Queen is an expert in that matter, she was secretly engaged for almost one (01) year before an "announcement".   Think PW is emulating her 

Back on Chelsy's outing, I'm totally confussed with her dates, the dates and the places; St. Martin, Bungalow 8, Raffles ? Someone kindly give a timeframe and the dates/friends she went with for each ?! Thanks.

The Queen is totally different scenario. She was a kid when she fell for Philip, she adored him. She didn't linger for years "dating" Philip, she couldn't date at 13 and he dated other women while she grew up.  Kate was over 20 not a kid when she met and later started dating Wills, she's 27 now--Elizabeth was only 20 when she got engaged to be engaged and only waited ONE year for it to be officially set by her parents. When Elizabeth came "of age" after she turned 18 they got serious and dated. She only waited a year for the engagement pending mom and dad's final say so. No Comparison with WIlliam and Kate. None. How on earth is he emulating his granny? If  he did he'd have been married within three years of starting to date Catherine.  It's not "just like his granny." No way.

I don't get the need for people to think that Wills must hide his "date set" like a dirty little secret. Why wouldn't he want it known? If he doesn't want it know something is seriously wrong.

Anyway WIlls is over 25 and it was Elizabeth's PARENTS who called the shots on the time she could get engaged. Philip wanted to marry sooner and if he and Elizabeth had their way they would have (it was her parents holding up the works). It's all in Wills court and he doesn't seem in any hurry which is so unlike his granddad who wanted it to happen  sooner than it did. I think if Wills gave the go ahead, there would be no delaying tactics by dad or granny like Granny experienced years back.

When did Kate go to Chile?  Where did you read that?  I read she went to Italy.

Perhaps I've missed something major, but I was under the impression that this thread was about Chelsy partying at Bungalow 8. I got that impression from the thread's title. So why on earth are we talking about Kate and William and the Queen? Back on topic, please.
