William's aunt, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, is the current ceremonial High Sheriff of Lincolnshire.  I wonder if she'll be present for any of these engagements?

I think it is great that Wm is coming forward, and especially doing these "local" engagements. Takes pressure off Her Majesty and warms him up for his trip down under!!
Really pleased to get a look at him doing what his role requires. He is going to be so well received....

Yes, Satrine, as she is the High Sheriff of Lincolnshire.

The pictures not only testify to William's love for the children, but their love for him. He has a great rapport with the OAPs and in fact all ages in between as well.
He is a born King. Royal

  Drezzle

He would make a wonderful teacher and/or physician...if his path wasn't all plotted out when he was born. He thoroughly enjoys being with the people.

I think he especially enjoys young children since most of them have no idea who he is and just react to him as a normal person.  Either that or they see how handsome he is, but I don't think most young children notice that so much?

Thanks so much, drezzle.  The pictures in the DM actually brought tears to my eyes.  He is a natural at this!   Royal

And I agree, he must enjoy the fact that the children treat him like a normal person.

Well one thing is certain Prince William is more comfortable with children then his father. He shows a natural ease and as is clear by the child on his lap and the wonderful hug and smile so reminiscent of his mother. Lady Sarah really did look proud of her nephew and delighted to see him I wonder just how often they do see each other.

He looked like he was really having fun with these kids and good on him.
These pics certainly show  him in a not so stuffy stance as we're so used to seeing his father in.
Charles usually stands back a little fiddling with his tie and/or cufflinks. He does try though.
