A tad of revenge for The Diana Supporters.... for Diana.
I wonder if Charles sees any of these articles. You'd think he'd be curious about his son's reception down under, but since most articles also mention Diana and not him, I wonder how he's taking it. I bet Camilla has to pat him on the back and try to buck him up a lot these days. At least I hope so. Mike, this might be her toughest assignment yet. It was easy to sympathize and make Diana out to be the bad guy, but William is his son (tricky territory) and he will be king - and in that capacity William could have a lot to say about her future postal code! Maybe the floors at CH need to be refinished after all the stomping PC did over the tour.

Spot on Ursula...Chas must be incandescent...he and Camilla only got one eighth..that's 1/8 of the press he has gotten from Britain alone.

Well that's alright then. As long as we know where you are and that you are not wandering the streets. Your education is very important to us.

Funny article Here's the quotes that show the journalists know where they stand with Wills: I get the impression that William isn’t too keen on photographers. Nor is he impressed by journalists’ fixation with his disappearing hair.
The end of the tour is in sight, and as a treat William is allowed an afternoon of ‘private time’. We speculate about what he’ll get up to.
Swimming like his dad on Bondi beach? Surfing, perhaps? We’re all looking forward to seeing him in swimming shorts.
But that, alas, is not to be. Instead, he takes a high-powered jet-boat to get the hell away from us. So we trudge back to our hotel rooms to prepare for the evening broadcast.

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/indepth/prince-williamShow me any individual who likes phtotograhers to stand on rails or go up on rooftops to get the worst possible angle of their subject so they can compose silly titles about his 'heir.'

wish he did do something other than meeting people and shaking hands and stuff. guess he didn't do anything "normal" because Australia isn't that loyal to the Monarchy and so he wanted to look like he was doing something to strengthen the ties.

^ You may want to go through the threads - his trip included formal and informal events. It was a perfect first tour for him. Kudos to William.

You’re welcome, Ursula! Macca said that she had brought along some gifts from Australian Water Polo Inc and wondered when a good time would be to give them to him. He said "Why not now?" She handed over the gifts and he said: "Ah, bathers." Someone asked the Prince if he knew what they are called in Australia. He said no and the reply came "Budgie Smugglers". The Prince then turned to his handlers and said: "Please look after my budgie smugglers." Macca said: "It was refreshing talking to someone of high stance who wasn't talking down to you. "He said that he would have liked to put on the cossies and jump into the harbour for a swim but I warned him about getting eaten by sharks." Now I know what “budgie smugglers” are

LONG LIVE THE KING IF HIS NAME IS WILLIAM They're still raving on about him in Oz!! A funny thing happened in Australia last week. A country which is overwhelmingly republican in spirit, in which most people presume that the republican question will be revisited on the sorrowful occasion of the Queen’s passing, seems to have put its republicanism on hold.
Credit for this goes solely to William.
