Calling VANNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you get my reply?

Why don't you post here what you and your mum are lucky to be doing whilst PW is here?

Then you could tell us all about it, the atmosphere and such......................... .......

Hi Lindelle

Thanks for the quick reply. My mum has been invited to an Australia Day Luncheon hosted by her employer Australia Post.

I doubt I'll see Prince William though  I promise to post if I do see him.

Just had 'A Current Affair' on telly.
It's a short nightly show which highlights weekly events and such.....................
They mentioned Wills visit but excitement is not building.

I saw the report on Today Tonight. I have to say it failed to make me excited about his visit  Not amused!

I'm glad that people  are looking forward to his visit. He is truly one of two best representatives of the BRF...I'm sure he will charm them to bits. IMO, all he has to do is wear his Army uniform that would have me won over.
 ;)Handsome lad that he is...
Looking forward to Harry's Barbados polo game as well....

Nothing much in the Sat issue of the Daily Telegraph except for a couple of opinion pieces and an article on page 13 about the ' young women' getting excited about William visiting.  It's being touted as an 'informal' visit, so even though while he's here it will be on every news bulletin, it will be short and sweet.

here's more on the aborigine story.  i hope he's able to help them find their ansestor.  it sounds like it might be like finding a needle in a haystack though.

O..M..G...!! Please allow him to find that head!!   What a triumph if William could bring that head back to NZ...! The republican party would fade right out of sight , off of the map!! I hope all laboratories in the UK are having  3 shifts  of search parties rigorously looking for this head.( no pun intended re rigorusly). Seriously, half in fun , whole in earnest! Wink

I notice also, that there is a certain favour for Prince WM, and the anticipated persona that he will present. After all , he has shown that he can publicly perform in the same style as his Mother, that he has the magic touch ( with all due respect) and Diana was well received and respected in this area of the world..He is a winner...!!

That's still undecided.

This sounds rather mystifying:

http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/152239/Wills-private-Royal-tour

Quote
But although it is the young Prince’s most important royal duty to date, Clarence House officials refused to allow him to be photographed as he left Heathrow, claiming his departure was “private”.

The mystifying move came despite the airport normally allowing photo-graphers air-side for official royal tours abroad.

It is also totally out of step with tradition. When his father Prince Charles joined the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh on their 1970 New Zealand visit, the 22-year-old heir to the throne happily paused for snaps.

OMG.. Do you suppose he took waity Katy with him?.. Huh?
This was NOT a private visit , when he is going on business representing her Majesty and the Monarchy... A little over the top, IMO...
