Quote
Infidelity, footballers and princes
Calls for John Terry to be stood down as captain of the English football team due to an alleged affair have been ludicrous.
Infidelity is a fact of life that encroaches on all facets of society and, as recent events will testify, this includes sports stars.
If we are to continue to crucify anyone famous that does not meet an ‘‘idealistic clean living’’ prototype, then let’s forget about the future king of England and go straight to Prince William.

^ It refers to Charles' affair with Camilla.

Amen to going "straight to Prince William."   Wink

Have to disagree Ursula. I think William should have a bit of life experience before becoming King. Let Charles keep the throne warm for a while, while William matures and becomes used to engagements, the press, public speaking and being a husband and father.

Richard Palmer, Royal correspondent of The Express tweets about 1 hour ago...

Prince William, asked for an invitation to his wedding, says: "You'll have to wait a while."

Oh how lovely! Some glimmer of hope!

Wonder who the source is? Maybe the Royal Reporter will post an article about this and share some more about he tip.

Thanks for posting. I needed some good news this morning.

Sorry tweets don't cut it for me. I'll start to talk about a wedding date when one is formally set if or when the engagement announcement comes.

I've had a very productive day off surprisingly. Gutted I wasn't working today though because Prince William is at my store @KRSC_Chelsea

Here's the site of the sportswear store http://www.krsc.co.uk/

How interesting....doesn't seem to be the sort of place he would shop at. I wonder if he is alone or with Kate?

Ah, jewelry is one thing William doesn't have to shop for, Countess.  His grandmother has one heck of a vault with all sorts of sparkling goodies.

From a sports store to a luxury retail one.  Are they planning a vacation? Swimwear? Mothers day?

I just found this link from Royal Anecdotes commenting on the usual Royal Engagement waiting game. Don't know if it's been posted anyway else before. If it has please feel free to remove or redirect my posts, Mods.

John, the author at Royal Anecdotes was really keen on Kate Middleton is the early days.

But like for many others, he seems to be exhausted and frustrated with having little or nothing to post about. He appears to be at the point of "either split up or get married, stop mucking around".

We can relate here, I think. The lack of royal news, photographs and authentic articles (not KN rubbish), make a once very dynamic forum a bit lackluster.

^ You're right, gec. I recall that. The RA site was very supportive of Kate and her possible marriage to William in the earlier years. It's not like John has done a 180 and has started bashing her but has instead, like the rest of us, moderated his views and put some things into perspectives. And IMO, he has made a lot of sense doing so.

These sort of stories of "spotting"  rank with the premature WOolworth Wedding souvenir from way back when. IMO of course
